Harvest Moon~ Part Uno

It's your 18th birthday, finally a legal adult. Just as your done partying with your friends and family, a letter comes. It reads:



You finish reading, and vague memories of cherry blossom trees and a farm flash through your mind. Nodding to yourself, you make a mental note to pack your bags.


So the rest of this story is up to you.
Will you raise a farm?
Will it specialize in something?
Or will you have a store?

Personality~ Amnyia is very shy, but is fun to be around once you warm up to her. She is extremely smart, but loves to spend her time writing and reading. Having an abusive father (read story) made her very wary of physical touch from others, so she usually stays to herself in the library tower. This makes her one wish in life very hard to acheive: to finally fall in love. As she barely speaks, and does not like to be in the presense of a human, getting close to another person is irrelivant. So, she drowns her woes at the bar, where only then does she actually speak to people.

Story~Amnyia was raised in the city, hidden in the small apartments with her parents. She loved life, making friends, attempting stupid stunts, until her mother was diagnosed with Lukemia. Her father, barley getting them by as it was, could not afford to take care of the disease. As of Amnyia's 11th birday, her father was a murderer. Killed her mother to save money. He didn't want Amnyia there either, but he couldn't kill her as easily. Abusing her was as close as he could get. She became withdrawn, and did her best in school to drain her mind of going home. Bruises and cuts were covering her, and her teacher, Amnyia's best and only friend, noticed. She called child services, and had her father taken away by the end of the year. Refusing to let the girl who was like a daughter to her go to an orphanege, she adopted Amnyia. Happiness was surrounding Amnyia now, but nothing could repare what her father did to her. And about two years later, when she was turning into a teenager, her now foster mother died of a car crash. This process was repeated until she was eighteen and able to take care of herself. People would adopt her, and somehow they would be killed. She was afraid to get close to anyone, thinking that they would be killed as well. Raising enough money at a resturant, Amnyia moved into the valley to start over.

Personality-Serenity is an out-going girl who spends her time stealing from the wealthy towns people. She is careless, and doesn't think about consequences. She has more street smarts, and spends most of her time daydreaming about running a ranch.

Description-Serenity has straight, long, and spiky jet black hair, bright lime green eyes, and is of average weight and height.

Story-At age eight, Serenity's parents were killed in a car crash when she was six. With no where to go, she was sent to an orphanage. Two years later, she escaped to live on the street. For ten years, she was raised by master thiefs who taught her to pick any lock, and special techniques to use while stealing. Being raised on the streets, Serenity never went to school, so she had more street smarts than common knowledge. When she wasn't stealing, she was daydreaming about a better life. One night while breaking into a mansion, Serenity discovered a brochure for Forget-Me-Not-Valley, advertising an abandoned ranch. Instead of stealing the jewels, she took the ad, packed her stuff, and never looked back, going to do something she has always wanted to do.

Oooohhoooo Intense. Accepted.

Amnyia walked out of her house, breathing in the light layer of fog that surrounded the valley in the morning. She smiled to herself and walked over to the horse pasture.

Serenity took her first steps into Forget-Me-Not-Valley. She closed her eyes and thought for awhile. When she opened them, she took off running to see the Mayor.

Mayor paced around in his foyer, waiting for a new arrival that was going to meet him.

Serenity opened the Mayor's door and walked in.

"Ah! You must be Serenity!" The Mayor exclaimed, turning to the youth that walked through his doors. "Please, come in, come in."

Serenity walked in and sat down in a small chair in front of the Mayor's desk.

((Ooooops SORRY))

The Mayor calmly sat down at his desk, looking at the files that were placed on his desk. "So, Serenity." He started, looking at the bollo profile of her, "It says here that you want a ranch here?" He looked up, not moving his head, letting his eyes peek out from his half moon spectecales. "And what type of ranch do you propose to run? Dairy, Livestock, produce....?"

Serenity thought for a moment. "I'd like to run all three!" she said, confidently.

(I thought it was Serenity...? STOP CHANGING!)

Mayor raised his eye brows at her. "Well alright then. Just fill out this forum," He said, pushing a piece of paper to her, "It's just farm info, like it's name, the location, insurance, that kind of stuff.

(When I look I see the opposite name. D:)

Serenity started to fill in the form one question at a time:

Name: Toki Ranch
Location: The Abandoned Hotel up on the hill
Insurance: Gecko (>.>)

Serenity passed the paper to the mayor.

(Heh, I was kidding about that. You could have just said that she filled it out)

Mayor looked up and down the forum. Nodding in approval, he said, "Well, Serenity, you now have full custody over the hill and, " He extened his hand, "Welcome to Forget-Me-Not-Valley"

Serenity shook his hand and nodded. "Thanks," she said, trying hard not to steal his pen.

Mayor decided to plaster his smile to his face as he politely showed her to the door. "Have a good time." He called be for shutting it. His smile fell to a large frown as he realized one of his favorite pens was gone

Serenity sighed happily and ran off to go to the abandoned inn.

What?

Amnyia looked up from her grooming bucket to the girl that was running up the old hill. Furrowing her brow, she made a note to go and meet her.

Serenity gasped at what she saw. "This place SUCKS!" she exclaimed, staring that the huge mess.
